A memorial fund has been established at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Des Moines, called "Eve's Community Fridge Fund." That fund helps purchase food items to place in the community fridge that Eve was instrumental in establishing at the church.  Community members in need help themselves to groceries placed in the fridge.
